Ama Clins is a classic Ayurvedic herbal formula built on astringent and bitter herbs. In Ayurveda, "ama" refers to undigested, accumulated waste that arises when the digestive fire (agni) is weakened. The formula is traditionally used to support the digestive tract, the liver, the blood and metabolism, contributing to the body's natural clearing of accumulated waste.
What it contains
Tribulus (Tribulus terrestris) is a herb with a long history in Ayurveda, included to support metabolism and the eliminative function.
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) is one of the most valued Ayurvedic herbs, traditionally used to support digestion and the body's defences.
Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is a sweet root traditionally used to soothe and balance the digestive system.
Hemidesmus (Hemidesmus indicus) is a herb used in Ayurvedic cleansing formulas to support the blood.
Andrographis (Andrographis paniculata) is a markedly bitter herb traditionally included to support the liver and digestion.
Neem (Azadirachta indica) is a bitter herb classically used in Ayurvedic cleansing recipes.
