The Konosan hemp rope is traditionally hand knotted from natural hemp fiber, a material known for its strength and a firm, slightly coarse texture when new. Hemp fiber is breathable, naturally sourced, and resistant to stretching, which makes it suitable for extended wear against the skin.
Over time, the surface of the rope gradually smooths from contact with the skin and clothing and the fine fibers soften, a normal and expected process for this natural material.
How to use
Tie the rope loosely around the chosen area of the body so that it sits close to the skin without pressing or restricting circulation. Wear it directly against the skin, with clothing on top providing extra fixation. It is recommended to remove it while bathing.
Care
If cleaning is needed, hand wash in lukewarm water without harsh detergents and let it air dry away from direct heat. Frequent soaking speeds up the natural wear of the fibers.
