The elderflower and ginger syrup combines the gentle floral taste of elderflower with the warm, lightly spicy note of fresh ginger. It is made for preparing homemade lemonade that refreshes on hot days and adds character to every glass.
How it is made
Buzko makes its syrups from fresh Bulgarian ingredients, and the elderflower comes from the brand's own bio-certified plantation. The flowers and the fresh ginger are processed with a gentle low-temperature technology that preserves their natural aroma. No ready-made concentrates, extracts, juices or flavouring substances are added, so the taste stays close to that of the raw ingredient itself.
How to prepare
The syrup is concentrated and is diluted with water. The reference ratio is one part syrup to eight parts water (1:8), which yields about 6.75 l of ready lemonade from the bottle. You can use still or sparkling water as you prefer and adjust the amount of syrup to taste.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, keep the bottle closed in the refrigerator and use the contents within a reasonable period.
