Passionflower is a climbing plant whose flowers and leaves have been valued for their calming properties for centuries. Combined with jasmine, this tincture offers balanced support for the nervous system.

What it contains

Standardised water-ethanol extract of passionflower /Passiflora incarnata/ and jasmine /Jasminum officinalis/; 62-68% vol ethanol. Passionflower's activity is mainly attributed to its alkaloid and flavonoid content.

Intended use

The passionflower and jasmine blend is traditionally used for anxiety, distress and insomnia, and also to support periods of low mood. Passionflower is known for a combined calming, sedative and anxiolytic action, traditionally associated with reducing tension and stress and contributing to healthy sleep; its alkaloids are known to inhibit monoamine oxidase. Jasmine is also known for sedative properties, for reducing the effects of negative stress, and for stimulating antioxidant activity in the body.

How to use

40 drops, diluted in about 50 ml water or juice, up to 4 times daily, before meals.
