The product is obtained by spray drying - a method in which fruit liquid is dispersed into fine droplets in a stream of hot air and thereby quickly turned into a dry powder. 380 g of fresh bananas yield 100 g of finished product.
Taste and characteristics
The powder retains the characteristic sweet taste and aroma of banana. The composition includes spray-dried banana fruit (85%) and potato maltodextrin as a carrier (15%), with no added sugar or GMO ingredients.
